In the matter of a month, a group called Northern Imagination raised $127,000 on Kickstarter, the amount needed to fund the building of a statue dedicated to the inventor Nikola Tesla in Silicon Valley. It’s a way of paying tribute to “the person who used his brilliance to advance society” by making “hundreds of significant and groundbreaking inventions in areas of wireless energy, wireless communication, magnetism, radio, x-rays, cosmic rays, radar, robotics, engine-powered aircraft and much more.” (Read More)
